   We have designed this Irish 5kw Wind Turbine with the large farming / rural home owner in mind.

Our 5kw 220V Wind Turbine must be first connected to the 5kw Charge Controller which has 2 jobs, 1) the charge controller changes the output from the Wind Turbine from AC to DC for battery charging to your Battery Bank 2) when the wind speed gets too high the Charge Controller acts as a brake to stop the 5kw Wind Turbine from spinning out of control. When the wind blows our 5kw wind turbine will charge your battery bank in no time at all.

With the addition of the optional Controller and Battery Bank you could be using your generated power to power your whole house / business / farm by just installing a twin input circuit breaker which will allow you to choose Free Wind Power or ESB power.

The Charge Controller has a throughput of 100amps so the rated output is above 5kw at 43km/h

It is possible to live completely off grid with this 5KW Wind Turbine and 18 of our 400watt Solar Panels

You will need this wind turbine cable to run from your 5kw wind turbine to the 5kw charge controller, no other cable is compatible and definitely do not use 230v ac electrical cable
