These Braking resistors are designed to be use in conjunction with our Change over / Stop Switch , They work by introducing a large load on the Wind Turbine and hence slowing it down in Storm force conditions.

Supplied as a triple pack as you will need one braking resistor on each of the 3 cables from your Wind Turbine. Rated solely for our 48v Wind Turbines from 800w to 5000w.
