Solar Charge Controller - 100 Amp

 We currently stock 2 versions of our Solar Charge Controllers , a 40 amp version and a 100 amp version.

If your Solar PANELS are lower wattage then if you look at the label on the rear of your Solar PANEL the specifications will give you an AMP rating, simply multiply this AMP rating by your number of panels and then choose the next higher rated Auto Solar Charge Controller, so if your AMP rating is 30amps you will need our 40Amp Solar Charge Controller , if your AMP rating is 50,60 or 80 or even 90amps then you need our 100 Amp Solar Charge Controller.

The charge controller should be connected to the battery first, then the solar panel, and finally the load! You can change the settings by the simple one-button operation. Wire removal standard: first remove the solar panel, then the battery, and finally the load.

A PWM (pulse width modulation) controller can be thought of as an (electronic) switch between the solar panels and the battery: The switch is ON when the charger mode is in bulk charge mode. The switch is “flicked” ON and OFF as needed (pulse width modulated) to hold the battery voltage at the absorption voltage. This stops sulfation in batteries and helps them last longer maintain more output power than if a non PWM Solar Controller is used.

Specifications:

4) Please ensure you do not reverse the polarity as doing so will void your warranty

5) Has 2 USB ports so very handy for charging Phones etc , The charge regulator is suitable for lead acid batteries / AGM / GEL,lithium ion and some other batteries.

This controller can only use photovoltaic panels as charging power. It cannot use DC or other power as charging power
