   Our MPS 5KW Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter is ideal for large Solar arrays and is suitable for Off Grid use in Ireland. Labelled as a 5KW hybrid unit which means it can be powered by a Battery bank and or a Solar Array, maximum continuous power output is 5000 watts or 5KW , ( maximum surge power output is 10KW for 30 seconds only)

Up to 6 Units can be used together so you can have a 30kw power source . Your Grid connection from the ESB is 12kw

In lay mans terms this Hybrid Power Inverter Charger can be connected to your Solar Panel array and a large battery bank and also MAINS Electricity or a Generator that spits out mains voltage  ( max 3amp fuse regulated power supply , DO NOT attach cheap unregulated power supplies from Generators )

The battery bank in turn can be connected to a Wind Turbine up to a max of 5KW at 48v. You can if you wish just use solar to charge the battery bank and alternatively use Night rate electricity to charge the battery bank overnight ready for use all day long.

With a 3kw 48v or a 5KW 48v Wind Turbine attached you will only need mains electricity on an irregular basis

Please note this Power Inverter needs to be connected to a Battery Bank which is wired for 48v DC

Please note you will need a electrician to wire the output from the Grid to the AC input on this 5.5KW Power Inverter as this is mains wiring and not low voltage wiring.

Wiring setup Procedure

1) Mount the Power Inverter onto a concrete wall 

2) Switch OFF the Power inverter , rocker switch on the under side of the units

3) Connect the Battery bank to the Power Inverter 48 vdc via a DC 125amp circuit breaker

4) Now you can connect your Solar cable , max 7 x 425w solar panels wired in series

5) Connect your Mains output cable to your AC Breaker 

6) Now and only now can you switch on your power Inverter
