3kw Wind Turbine 48v

   We have designed this Irish 3kw Wind Turbine with the farming / rural home owner in mind.

Our 3kw 48V Wind Turbine must be first connected to the 3kw Charge Controller which has 2 jobs, 1) the charge controller changes the output from the Wind Turbine from AC to DC for battery charging to your Battery Bank 2) when the wind speed gets too high the Charge Controller acts as a brake to stop the 3kw Wind Turbine from spinning out of control. When the wind blows our 3kw wind turbine will charge your battery bank in no time at all.

With the addition of the optional Controller and Inverter you could be exporting your excess energy and getting paid for it from the ESB.  ESB must be notified and if you cannot export to the ESB then just install a Break before Make double Pole switch so that you can choose your own generated Wind Power or expensive ESB power.

Once you connect this 3kw wind turbine to it's charge Controller and a 5KW Power Inverter this Wind Turbine is a simple easy maintenance free power source that will save you money and drive down the cost of the Electricity bills you currently receive from your Electricity supplier.

It is possible to live completely off grid with this 3KW Wind Turbine and 12 of our 400watt Solar Panels

You will need this wind turbine cable to run from your 3kw wind turbine to the 3kw charge controller, no other cable is compatible and definitely do not use 230v ac electrical cable

We recommend that you put this 3kw Wind Turbine into BRAKE mode when the winds are over 60km/h
