       Our 800w 48v Residential Wind Turbine is our mid level Battery Charging Wind Turbine, weighing only 22kgs and with a wing span of just under 1.84m it can be attached to your home with ease. Typically our homeowners use a set of T and K brackets and a 2 inch OD steel pole to ensure a secure mounting with little or no vibration.

Our WT-800W 48v will be delivered to you in a double walled cardboard box to ensure a hassle free transportation and delivery service. We ship all of our Wind Turbines from stock so your new WT-800W 48v  is only 2-3 days away from you.

Our Patented generator has a low start up torque and has a high return on wind energy.

The Teflon High Temperature wire we use will not be damaged when you use a brake switch to stop the Turbine spinning in hurricane force winds.

This single 800w 48v Wind Turbine is all you will need to fully charge 8-12 of our 200amp 12v Batteries. This residential 800watt 48v wind turbine outputs electricity in the form of AC so we also include a Charge Controller which converts the AC output from the Wind Turbine to DC at 48v so you can charge your batteries another way to do this would be to use a 3 Phase Bridge Rectifier between this turbine and your battery bank.

A 3 phase bridge rectifier simply converts AC voltage from our Residential 800 watt 48v wind turbine in to DC so that you can charge a battery or battery bank. Only to be used with a bridge rectifier in low wind conditions.

A wind turbine controller protects your battery bank from over charging, applies breaking loads to limit wind turbine over speeds due to high winds or light loading, and converts Wild AC power generated by the wind turbine to DC power used by all battery banks.

Our 800w Wind turbine needs to be connected to the battery bank with 16mm sq copper cable as in the cable we have listed here , no other 3 core or pamaflex or similar cable can be used or should be used only use our 16mm copper stranded cable for a zero resistance power transfer from the Wind Turbine to the Battery bank
